The problem

VA denials aren't about your care. They're about your paperwork.

Your clinical notes are written for commercial workflows — and they're usually excellent. But the VA's Request for Service review looks for specific fields, specific language, and a specific rationale structure. Miss any of them and the submission gets denied, delayed, or kicked back for rework — translating directly into denied claims, delayed payment, and weeks of preventable rework.

Without a checkYou find out after the denial

  • You write the note the way you always write it. Looks fine.
  • Submission goes to the VA. Denial comes back weeks later, citing missing fields or vague rationale.
  • Rework, resubmit, wait. Payment delayed. Patient care continuity interrupted.
  • No one on your team can say why — because the denial reasons are buried in VA boilerplate.

With GovForceYou find out in seconds

  • Paste your notes. GovForce scores them against VA RFS compliance rules.
  • Every gap is highlighted inline with a plain-English suggestion.
  • Edit, accept, or re-word — then re-check until the score is green.
  • Copy the final compliant text back into your RFS. Submit. Get paid faster.
How it works

Your notes, your words, just compliance-checked.

GovForce doesn't write your clinical content. You already did that. It just makes sure the VA will accept what you wrote.

1

Paste your notes

Copy the clinical note, evaluation, or RFS narrative you've already written — from your EMR, a Word doc, wherever. Paste it in.

2

Get a 0–100 score

GovForce reviews your notes against VA Request for Service compliance requirements and returns a score plus inline highlights of every gap.

3

Fix with suggestions

Each highlighted issue comes with a concrete suggestion. Accept it, reword it, or ignore it — the text stays fully editable in your voice.

4

Re-check & submit

Run the check again. When your score is green, copy the final compliant text and paste it into your RFS submission. Done.

Purpose-built AI

Not a general-purpose AI. A VA RFS specialist.

GovForce isn't a generic AI model guessing at the VA. It's an AI system built around VA Community Care requirements — tuned to the exact fields, rationale structures, and denial reasons the VA uses when it reviews your Request for Service. Every flag traces back to a real VA compliance rule.

Confidence built on VA-specific focus.

General-purpose AI is great at sounding fluent — and terrible at knowing whether a submission will clear VA review. GovForce is narrower, tighter, and tuned to one job.

It reads your notes the way a seasoned VA Community Care reviewer would, catches what reviewers flag, and tells you — in plain English — how to fix it.

"A narrow AI that does one thing well beats a fluent AI that does everything poorly. For VA paperwork, that's exactly what you need."

What GovForce's AI knows cold

  • The documentation behind Form 10-10172. Not the form fields themselves — the clinical notes and supporting records attached to the RFS. What the diagnosis detail, rationale, frequency, duration, and medical-necessity language need to contain to clear review.
  • The real reasons RFS submissions get denied. Missing ICD-10 specificity, vague treatment duration, weak medical-necessity language, missing continuity-of-care justification. Every rule is tied to an actual denial pattern.
  • VA Community Care vocabulary and structure. The specific phrasing and clinical-rationale framing VA reviewers expect — not commercial-payer language dressed up as federal.
  • Your clinical voice stays yours. GovForce never rewrites your notes. It shows you what needs attention and lets you decide what to change — your judgment, your words, your license.
  • Updated as VA requirements change. When the VA updates RFS guidance or field requirements, GovForce updates with it — so your compliance checks are never out of date.
  • Shaped by real VA Community Care practices. The rules, highlights, and suggestions are informed by the practices actually submitting RFS forms every week — not theoretical use cases.
What you get

A second pair of eyes, trained on VA RFS compliance.

Every tile below is something the VA's review looks for — and something GovForce flags for you before you hit submit.

Compliance score, 0–100

A single clear number tells you whether this RFS is ready to submit, or whether it's headed for a denial.

Inline highlights & suggestions

The exact passages at risk are highlighted in your own text, with a suggested fix for each one — in plain English, not VA jargon.

Edit & re-check loop

Accept a suggestion, rewrite a section, or paste a revision — then re-run the check. Iterate until you hit a green score.

Protect VA revenue

Every prevented denial is revenue that stays in your practice instead of getting tied up in appeals, rework, and delayed VA payment cycles.

Faster VA payment

Compliant submissions on the first pass mean faster authorization, faster payment, and no rework cycle dragging on for weeks.

HIPAA-aware architecture

Encrypted storage and access controls designed for protected health information, with HIPAA BAAs being put in place as we onboard practices.

Early provider feedback

Less rework. Faster payment. Clinical voice intact.

What we're hearing from VA Community Care providers in early interviews and access.

We used to get bounce-back notifications weeks after we submitted — missing durations, vague rationale, the usual suspects. Now I run every note through GovForce before we send anything. If the score's green, I feel a lot better hitting submit, and we've had far fewer come back.

I was worried it would try to rewrite my clinical notes. It doesn't. It reads them and tells me the exact spots the VA would push back on — that's it. My clinical voice stays intact, my submissions stop coming back. That's the whole pitch and it works.
Physical Therapist / OwnerSolo practice · Maryland
Our denial rework queue used to eat about eight hours a week. Now it's almost empty because we're fixing issues before submission, not after. Authorizations come back faster, we stopped re-submitting the same RFS twice. The ROI math wrote itself.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Does GovForce write my notes for me?

No — and that's intentional. You're the clinician; you write the notes. GovForce is a compliance check on what you've already written. It scores your text against VA RFS requirements, highlights what's missing or weak, and suggests fixes you can accept, reword, or ignore. Your clinical voice and judgment stay yours.

Why is GovForce better than a general-purpose AI model?

General AI models aren't trained on the VA's Request for Service requirements. They'll give you fluent-sounding text that still fails VA review. GovForce is purpose-built: its rules are drawn from the VA Community Care documentation requirements behind Form 10-10172, plus real denial patterns. It checks the supporting documentation, not the form itself. Every flag maps to a specific compliance rule — not the AI's best guess.

What is a VA Request for Service, and why does it get denied?

A Request for Service (RFS) is the document Community Care providers submit to the VA to initiate or continue authorized care. Denials usually come from a small set of recurring problems: missing ICD-10 codes, vague frequency or duration, insufficient clinical rationale for medical necessity, or language that doesn't match the VA's expected structure. GovForce checks for exactly those problems.

How does the compliance score work?

When you paste your notes, GovForce runs them against a rubric of VA RFS compliance checks — required documentation elements, rationale quality, specificity of treatment plan, and more. You get a single 0–100 score plus a list of specific issues ranked by severity. Green means submit it; yellow and red mean fix before you do.

Can I edit the suggestions?

Yes. Every suggestion is just that — a suggestion. Apply it, rewrite it in your own words, or ignore it entirely. Then re-run the check. The text is always fully editable.

How do I get the final compliant version back out?

Once your score is green, copy the finalized text from GovForce and paste it into your VA RFS submission (or the document/EMR field you're using). GovForce doesn't submit to the VA for you — it prepares the text so you can.

Is GovForce HIPAA-compliant?

GovForce is built with security and privacy as a priority — encrypted storage and strict access controls — and we're putting HIPAA Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) in place with our infrastructure providers as we onboard practices. We're glad to walk through our current security posture and BAA status with you.

What happens after the 7-day free trial?

You pick a plan and keep going. If GovForce isn't catching denials for you, just cancel — no card on file means nothing to unwind.
